WHAT IS PRESBYOPIA?
Deficiency of eye sight for most of the aged people is called as ‘Presbyopia’ at the time of birth, the lens in our eyes has some sort of pliability. So, things which are nearby and those which are far away are heaped and we are able to see clearly. According to the distance at which the objects to be seen, the shape of the eye-lens are changed.
When you are aged, the eye lens would become stiff and lose its pliability. So, when an object which is nearby is seen, the rays of light coming out of it will not heap correctly. Thus the objects which are nearby look very dim. This is called ‘Presbyopia’. This defect can be set right by operation and specs.
